The Philadelphia 76ers crashed out of the playoffs on Sunday night with a devastating Game 7 loss at home to Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks, and Sixers star Ben Simmons had another uninspiring performance on the offensive end in a must-win situation.

Simmons, who managed just three shot attempts in the fourth quarter in the entire seven-game series, seemingly passed up what should have been a dunk attempt with the Sixers trailing by two points with 3:31 remaining in the fourth, which Joel Embiid said after the game he considered to be a turning point. Simmons finished the game with five points on four shots, along with eight rebounds and 13 assists.

After the Hawks held on to win and advance to the Eastern Conference Finals, many Philly fans were left to wonder what might have been if Markelle Fultz was in Simmons’ position late in the game.
