Got a killer crossover, slick shot or supreme slamming skills? You have a chance to hit the hardwood with the Denver Nuggets’ minor league team.
The Grand Rapids Gold is holding two open tryouts next month.
Former NBA sharpshooter Jason Terry’s G League staff, alongside Nuggets brass, will watch hopefuls showcase their abilities once in Grand Rapids and a day later in Denver.
The Denver-based tryout will be held at the University of Denver on Sept. 19 at noon. There is a $150 registration fee which gets you the tryout and a Gold jersey. All players must have proof of a COVID-19 vaccination. The registration forms and fee must be submitted by Sept. 15.
There are 100 try-out spots, with the goal being to nab an invite to Grand Rapids Gold training camp.
If you think you have what it takes, you have to sign some waivers here.
