Steve Kerr had one word to perfectly describe Warriors' 53-point loss - NBC Sports Bay Area

Steve Kerr's first two answers in his postgame video conference were brief, but his few words said it all Friday after the Warriors' 130-77 loss to the Toronto Raptors.

"We just got destroyed," Kerr answered when asked what happened. "Not a whole lot to be said."

Golden State trailed by as many as 61 points at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Fla., and only one adjective came to Kerr's mind in describing the experience.

"Humiliating," Kerr said. "For everybody involved."

How else could Kerr describe becoming the first team in a quarter century to fail to score a fast-break point?

What other word sums up the loss, the second-worst in franchise history and one that included, perhaps, the worst quarter in franchise history?

Humiliating might not have gone far enough.

The Warriors certainly missed Steph Curry and Draymond Green, each of whom missed Friday's game with due to injuries. Curry remains the Warriors' center of gravity, while Green still is their defensive linchpin.

Their absences alone, though, can't account for a 53-point defeat. The rot certainly seems to run deeper with the Warriors, who now have lost 11 of their last 15 games since recording a season-high three-game winning streak. Golden State also is a season-low three games below .500 (23-26).

"Humiliating" might not have gone far enough.
