The New York Giants have been dealing with a COVID-19 issue this week and it’s left them a bit uncertain about who will and will not be available come Sunday.

More than 20 members of the organization, including a handful of players, have tested false-positive. Several have been cleared and returned to the field, but others have not.

With the issues still ongoing, Giants head coach Joe Judge has tried to prepare for every possible scenario. And in doing so, held tryouts for a couple of punters on Friday.

Matt Bosher and Drue Chrisman each took some reps in front of coaches and staff in East Rutherford and while neither has been signed as of yet, that may change should Riley Dixon test positive or false-positive.

The 34-year-old Bosher was a sixth-round pick of the Atlanta Falcons in the 2011 NFL draft. He spent eight years with the team before becoming a free agent in 2020. Since then, Bosher has remained out of football but did have a tryout with the Buffalo Bills last season.

The 24-year-old Chrisman was signed by the Cincinnati Bengals as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Ohio State back in April. He was released as a part of final cuts before being signed to the practice squad.

The Bengals released Chrisman on October 12.
