It will come as no surprise we have had very little rain so far this year. It was an extremely dry monsoon and hasn't been very wet at all since.
The Drought Monitor currently has our area in an "Exceptional Drought."
We have had 3.92 inches of rain at the Tucson airport since January 1st.
This is 6.51 inches less rain than the normal value of 10.43".
