It’s party time as The Jersey City Art School will be holding a free Print Party, a one day event for beginners in printmaking, on Saturday, Dec. 12, from 3 to 7 p.m.
JCAS’s Print Party is an open printmaking session where you can try your hand at printmaking in a collaborative setting. No experience is needed and all materials will be provided during the event.
Each event will feature a different printmaking method, but guests are encouraged to bring their own ideas and supplies if they wish to work on their own art.
If you’ve taken the Jersey City Art School’s Intro to Printmaking class before, you’re welcome to continue working on any linocuts you may still have.
Tickets are $50 and may be found at jcartschool.com/workshops/print-party. In order to enable social distancing, attendance is now limited to six participants. The classroom for the event is located at 135 Erie St., one block south of JCAS, Jersey City.
