When one of Joe Biden’s campaign strategists asked women to name a person whose endorsement would influence them the most, many landed on the name Glennon Doyle. The author of the New York Times best-selling memoir “Untamed” started her writing career with a niche Christian parenting blog, “Momastery.” She amassed a national audience by sharing candid stories of her struggles with bulimia, addiction, faith, her former marriage to a man and her new marriage to a woman: the soccer star Abby Wambach.
On this episode of “Sway,” Kara Swisher speaks to Doyle about why she resists labels like “influencer” and “Christian mommy blogger.” They also discuss misogyny, the power of apologies and why Meghan Markle is a “goddamn cheetah.”
