Ever tried making papad at home? Try this super easy recipe - Times of India

To begin with, take 1 cup sabudana, wash it properly under running water. Then take 2 cups of water and soak the sabudana pearls for 2-3 hours.

Then take a deep bottomed vessel and put it over medium flame. In the meantime, drain the excess water from the soaked sabudana.

Next add this soaked sabudana to the vessel and add 3 cups of water. Make sure that the fluffy sabudana pearls are submerged in water. Once the water starts to boil, add in 1/2 teaspoon salt. (You can also adjust it as per your taste preference)

While the sabudana water mixture starts attaining a thick texture, make sure you don’t stop stirring the mixture else it will stick to the bottom of the pan. You can add 1/ 2 a teaspoon jeera powder along with ½ teaspoon of red chili powder.

Once the mixture turns transparent and thick and spices are mixed properly.

Take a few flat plates, grease them with oil. Next, take a ladle full of thick sabudana mixture, put a little bit on the thali and give it a shape of pancake. Similarly, spread the rest of the mixture on the remaining greased plates.

Sun dry the papad for 2-3 days and you can relish it anytime.
